Apocynaceae of Vitória da Conquista, Bahia

Here, we present a survey of Apocynaceae from Vitória da Conquista, Bahia, Brazil. Eighteen genera and 26 native species of Apocynaceae are recognized, including 11 new occurrences for the municipality: Asclepias curassavica, Aspidosperma polyneuron, Blepharodon ampliflorum, Ditassa grandiflora, D. lenheirensis, Himatanthus bracteatus, Ibatia ganglinosa, Macropharynx peltata, Oxypetalum arachnoideum, Petalostelma dardanoi, and Skytanthus hancorniifolius. Moreover, the identification of Forsteronia thyrsoidea is updated to F. nitida.
