Studies on fungi in southwest of the Bahia are still few and in Caraíbas they are non-existent. Therefore, the present work aimed to catalog the species of macroscopic fungi from Salgada farm, Caraíbas, Bahia, Brazil. Thirteen collection expeditions were carried out from October to December 2021, following the usual methodology for collecting macrofungi, totaling 70 specimens that were deposited in the HVC herbarium. Twenty nine identifications were obtained at the species level, 23 at the genus level, and 18 at the family level. The taxa found were: Agaricus sp. 1, Agaricus sp. 2, Auricularia mesenterica, A. polytricha, Coriolopsis floccosa, Cymatoderma caperatum, Dacryopinax spathularia, Ganoderma sp. 1, Ganoderma sp. 2, Gymnopilus pampeanus, G. purpureosquamulosus, Hexagonia hydnoides, Hymenoscyphus sp., Itajahya rosea, Lentinus crinitus, Leucocoprinus aff. birnbaumii, Macrolepiota aff. bonaerensis, Marasmiellus sp., Marasmius sp. 1, Marasmius sp. 2, Mycena sp., Panaeolus sp., Panellus sp., Parasola sp., Phellinus sp., Pleurotus sp., Polyporus guianensis, P. tricholoma, Pycnoporus sanguineus, Ramariopsis kunzei, Schizophyllum commune, Trametes villosa, and Xylaria sp. Of these, G. pampeanus and M. bonaerensis are new records for Northeast Brazil; G. purpureosquamulosus and R. kunzei are new occurrences for Bahia. All taxa are new data for the municipality of Caraíbas. The results demonstrated that the southwestern region of the State has a diverse funga and the data presented here will enrich knowledge about fungi in the Brazilian Northeast.
