The Fungi Kingdom plays a crucial role in sustaining ecosystems, standing out as one of the main decomposers of organic matter, having a cosmopolitan distribution and can be found in organic and inorganic substrates. This work carried out a study of the occurrence of macroscopic and lichenized fungi in Serra do Periperi, Vitória da Conquista, Bahia. Nine collection expeditions were carried out between the months of November/2022 and September/2023, totaling 113 specimens that were deposited in the HVC herbarium. We found 26 species of macrofungi and seven of lichenized fungi, comprising the Ascomycota and Basidiomycota phylum. The most common species in the area were: Cladonia aff. verticillaris, Lentinus crinitus, Pycnoporus sanguineus, and Trametes villosa. The results demonstrate that there is a great diversity of species in the Serra do Periperi, given that 26 taxa were recorded as new occurrences in both the Serra do Periperi and Vitória da Conquista. Among these, Geastrum minimum, Panaeolus antillarum, and Tulostoma brumale were new occurrences for Bahia.
