The objective was to identify and analyze the pollen morphology of the sympatric species of Malpighiaceae that occur in the Parque da Cidade in Santarém, as well as to identify the floral visitors of these species. The floral visits were recorded in the field through direct observations. As for palynology, the acetolysis method was used. Two species were identified: Byrsonima basiloba A. Juss. and Lophanthera lactescens Ducke. The pollen morphology showed monad, isopolar, 3-colporate pollen grains, and the sexine ranged from reticulate to microreticulate. In the insect-plant interaction, 358 individuals were observed, distributed in eight genera (Apis, Bombus, Centris, Epicharis, Melipona, Tetrapedia, Trigona and Xylocopa) and two wasp species. The species of Malpighiaceae showed differences in floral visitors, being Centris sp. the most frequent pollinator.
